With family roots in the Azores through Allison's dad's side of the family, Portuguese culture has always been a meaningful part of her life. She grew up surrounded by Portuguese traditions, family gatherings, celebrations, incredible food, and a strong sense of community—values that have shaped who she is today.

As we began thinking about what our wedding day would feel like, we found ourselves drawn to the very things Portugal is known for: its emphasis on family, hospitality, gathering around a table, and celebrating life's most meaningful moments with the people you love.

More than anything, we wanted our wedding to feel like an experience. Specifically an experience where our favorite people could slow down, connect, and create memories together. Portugal embodies all of those things, making it the perfect place to begin this next chapter.​
